I prayed for another person with a surgical boot a couple of days after the other two. There does not seem to have been any improvement.

Guy in wheelchair and lady with osteoarthritis (no apparent improvement)

I prayed for a guy named Patrick at King Soopers today. He had a knee problem and had had surgery. He was in a wheelchair and his knee clearly hurt. His girlfriend and a young boy were with him (I assume, either his or her son). I prayed without laying on hands, commanding healing. As far as I could tell, there was no improvement. At Walmart, there was a lady who needed help loading her shopping into her car because she has osteoarthritis in her spine. I caught up with her at her car and asked if I could pray for her. Her name was Judy, and was a 6 on a 1-10 scale. She got into the car as I was about to start praying, so I explained I wanted to pray right then. Again, because of Covid-19 restrictions, I did not lay hands on her. I prayed briefly twice, commanding healing, but as she was sitting in her car, she couldn't really try her back. I've messaged some people I know on Facebook to ask them if they think I'm doing this right, what with Covid-19 restrictions and all. ...

Prayer for a strained shoulder (no apparent improvement)

Last Thursday (1/16/2020), I prayed for a man at work who had fallen from a step ladder while doing some work above a fire place. His ram had landed on the stone sill around the fireplace and his shoulder had been hurting him since then. I prayed for healing with my hand on his shoulder. He is from a Pentecostal background and raised his hands while I prayed(the uninjured one noticeably higher than the injured one). I do not know if there was any improvement. He kept emphasizing that he needed to rest his arm as this would allow it to heal naturally, which may well be true. He was however, very moved by the fact that I prayed for his healing, which seems odd given his background. UPDATE: 1/23/2020. I checked with the man I prayed for to find out if there has been any improvement. There has been nothing beyond normal recovery that he has observed.

Cold Symptoms prayed for (no apparent Improvement)

I prayed for a friend with a cold this morning, following Roger Sapp's approach again (video series listed here , and queued to the relevant video and point here ). His sinuses cleared but his throat was unchanged (i.e., it was still sore), so I placed my hand on his throat and commanded the soreness to go away. I asked him if it was any better and he said, if I recall his words correctly, "No it's still—holy cow, it does feel better!" I'll try and remember to follow up with him later and update this post regardless of whether he's still feeling better. UPDATE Later in the day, I went and asked my friend if he was feeling better. He said he felt how he had before we prayed. I prayed again but with no immediate sign of change. I wonder if I should do as Ian Andrews suggests in this video (queued to the relevant point) , and ask the Holy Spirit to flow through my hand then wait for any sensations I might feel to finish? I'll try and remember that next...
